These things are super nice. Thin like a sandwich cup but designed in a much more aesthetic way and integrates well with mag pins. Slight knock on price as these things get pricey with custom colors and the current tariff situation.

A decade ago these were the cream of the crop. However over the years we have a lot more options when it comes to rollers. The newer entries tend to have better tolerances when fitting in a rack (as well as options to secure them with pins) and more UHMW protection. Personally I never liked the return roller feature and prefer a flat roller in all instances.

I have the original version of this. If you want to use a Voltra with a pull up bar this is basically your only option and it works really well for it. I’ve found you can also use this on a band peg, which makes it much more versatile. However if you have one of the other rack mounts (and a rack), this ends up being a paper weight.

These plates look really good and are pretty nice overall in that they’re made in USA and accurate. Where these miss however is how deep they are. They take up too much real estate on a bar and make a very loud tinny sound when using. The backs are machined smooth which also doesn’t hold up great over time. Expect cracking/scratches to build up.

These are some of the best plates ever made. Accurate, made in USA, and very aesthetic. These are also very affordable at around $1-$1.50/pound.

Calibrated plates are very similar across brands. Most buying decisions will come down to aesthetic preference and price. Rogues plates aren’t the cheapest, but what hurts them is the additional shipping fee. I could understand this if they were made in USA or much different than other options, but they’re not. I have found the paint on mine held up better than some other brands.

This is a solid made in USA combo. It used to be one of the only options you could customize. While I like this combo, there are some things I think they could do better. The rollers on this don’t wear very well and tend to flatten out quicker than other brands I’ve used. You also don’t get a lot of UHMW on some of the potential touch points. Face savers aren’t included in the base price which I find weird, and when you factor this and shipping in, this quickly gets near that $3k mark. That being said it does have one of the better pads out there and they can do some pretty slick custom work.

I wasn’t a fan of this attachment. Not only was it annoying to set up, but it was hard to load effectively and get a full ROM. Storing this thing also was a pain bc of its odd shape and size. The biggest thing this has going for it is integrating into an existing rack at an affordable price.
