York Barbell Milled Vintage Weight Plates

The “modern” York milled plates are iconic in the powerlifting world for their clean design, tight tolerances, and thin profile, allowing for more weight to be loaded on a standard bar. Known for their distinct milling used to calibrate weight, the larger plates often display appealing patterns on the back. While the smaller change plates also feature milling, it’s less common due to the difficulty of machining smaller plates without causing cracks. The design of the smaller plates mirrors that of earlier marked versions, with the notable exception of the 35 lb plate, where the markings face away from the hub.
