It’s ok for hip thrusts, but pretty much useless for squats. It absorbs an insane amount of sweat when it’s on your back, it also takes away the feeling from the bar on your back.
Double sealed with a bag inside a beg. The first bag is Velcro then it goes into another bag that has a zipper and Velcro. It holds over 50lbs if you want to put that much sand into it for some reason
It’s a good, sturdy true 3*3 rack with west side spacing. It comes with bolts if you want to screw it into the floor. The only problem I’ve run into is the some of the welds aren’t great, not bad just not pretty.
It’s very hard to fill it to the desired weight and make sure there isn’t any movement in the bag. The bag on the outside is pretty much just a cover for a plastic bag on the inside with a zip tie on it. Haven’t been able to rip it though
I don’t think they would be worth it to buy brand new. The stones themselves are slippery until some of the finish gets worn off, then they become very slippery. Chalk seems to fix the problem.
Solid as a rock when filled up to the brim. They don’t move around or become floppy unless they’re under filled. The zipper and Velcro combo really make sure nothing leaks out.
