It comes with a tiny box for box squats tucked away inside like a matryoshka. Getting it out is a bit of an ordeal, you’ll need a few stout men to get it out. Once it’s out leave it strap side facing you. It’s a great box for step ups, jumps, split squats or anything you need a box for. The corners of the material do where out fairly quick so make sure it doesn’t go outside without being on a horstel mat.
It’s a handy little unit to have around. Not only will it hold a crispy boy or a piping hot Lacroix it also holds a phone, bottle of ammonia or barbell rescue brush. Since it harnesses the power of magnets to stick to anything ferric, the uses are litterally endless.
For a little more than a normal cross member the pull-up bar is an excellent use of space. It only fits in the widest rack BOS sells, but it offers four grips attached to an axle width bar on one side and a small bar on the other. The welds aren’t great but I haven’t broken it yet.
The lighter weights aren’t great by themselves, they warp under the weight of the bar. They aren’t great for technique work. The wider ones are completely fine. They do wear quite well when dropped.
You never know what you can find used on the internet, be it FBMP or some other site. You can usually get good deals from gyms closing down or people that hurt themselves and are getting out of the sport. This custom 12” Valkyrie log was only a five hour drive away.
