The main problem with these roller cups is that there is a 3/4 inch lip that you need to clear to get the barbell on/off the roller. Not a problem if you have a lift off, but it’s really annoying if you bench by yourself. Still better than using squat stands like a jackass.

If for some reason this didn’t come with your gym, or it wasn’t delivered by the EZ curl bar fairy, this is an option. This is an incredibly overpriced item now, it’s gone up 200% over the past two years. It’s fairly reliable but the nuts on the sleeves need to be tighten occasionally, which wouldn’t be as annoying if it used a standard sized lock ring.

Despite the size it says on the website, they will make you whatever length and thickness you want if you ask. All the paint work is custom and is included in the price. It’s very well balanced and has withstood a drop or two off the pad. Specialty collars are required.
