I can see this working really well with a 6 post rack where you have a dedicated slot for weight and taking up more horizontal space is possible. I did have it on a vertical plate tree and it worked well, but I found the Darko horn hubs to work better and give me an extra horn. For powerlifting change plates this is nice. I have since sold this due to getting horn hubs from Darko.

Same quality as their normal curl bar, but I find the extra length to make this a bit less balanced. I don’t have issues racking a normal curl bar on the sleeves in a rack so I see little use for this. I have since sold this due to having the normal curl bar and liking the feel during movements more.

I got this for around $200 used and at that price it was great. It does the 1 thing (Nordic curls) really well. Comfortable on ankles and knees. I’ve used other budget products and they don’t work quite as well or aren’t as comfortable. This priced new is way overpriced for the functionality you get out of it unless you have a high budget or love nordics and want one of the best. I have since sold this due to space, limited functionality, and lack of use.

There are some great platforms for purchase out there, but doing it DIY is a simple project that will have a great end result.

A must for grip and strongmen who have odd equipment that often has significant changes in weight. Stows away well and is affordable

Very versatile piece of equipment. I use it most for Viking press pairing with my Mutant metals handles. I have seen some great ideas with hack squats and other machine type movements. Having 1” attachments is needed so I am unable to try several of the ideas, but from what I see it seems the be a viable alternative for those what want more use out of what they have, but are willing to have some compromise.

I have a mix of gen 1 and 2 blobs. All number side. A couple that had been painted. I love blobs as a training tool and also as something fun to do with friends in the gym. I highly recommend people start building out their collection. Starting with half a 50,60,and 70 will be a good start for most people. I tend to recommend gen 2 over 1 since the weight is slightly more accurate on average. The legacy version is very different. Not bad, just different. My general recommendation is go traditional first since that’s more in line with the history. Current collection includes half of a: 10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,and 90.

These seem the be a more popular item at the time of this review. This is the most barebones version of that. It’s fine, but I don’t like the feel of angle. It’s a pass fo me. I could see if it rotated that it would be better, but can’t confirm.
