Fat Gripz Extreme These things are thick!! Pitched them so I could partake in hogans orange crush challenge and now Curt is using this year at the LHLE so the are an essential tool in my 2026 grip training. Purchased new in 2025

I owned this bar briefly in 2016 when I picked it up in a big vintage weights deal. It was the first SSB I ever used and left a lot to be desired in my opinion. The non existent handles just never made sense to me but this is regarded as the first SSB and one old heads really love it. I personally wouldn’t recommend it unless you have figured out what to do with your hands when using it.

I have 3 of these grippers in the gym. Idk how well they carry over to other types of grip strength but they are fun to play with every now and then. Owned since 2018

Vintage York split sleeve oly bar. York has made several generations of there oly bar over the years and I have owned a few of them but currently just one one pictured. The split sleeve bars just have a cool look. This is a 28mm oly bar with grippy / passive knurl and no center knurl. I use this bar occasionally for front squat rdls ect. Decent bar if you can buy it for 75-150 Purchased used in 2020

This review will be for one of the earlier models pictured. I borrowed my coach’s transformer bar for a couple months about 5 years ago to see if it was for me and it 100% was not. The massive long handles hit in the was at the bottom of the squat regularly. Non of the positions I tried really felt like what they said they were and it couldn’t do SSB very good so it wasn’t good to be a bad I would being in and sell off a couple others. Maybe the layer models were improved but I’m pretty sure they never reduced the length of the handles so I had no interest to try it again. Stick with a ssb, Duffalo & Marrs bar.

This was a good addition to the gym when we ran multiple deadlift bars on a regular basis. Worked well enough but i watched multiple friends of mine just never really get the hang out it and ended up selling it off And sticking with a dead wedge for the secondary jack. If you’re in a tiny gym this is valid option. Owned 2022-2023

I used to use this for warmups every week but honestly can’t recall the last time I picked it up. It’s something I should start using again. I did always feel better after doing air squats with This and walking sideways. Purchased new in 2018

Picked this rower up used for dirt cheap, I’m still getting the hang of how to actually use it but I know it’s a top of the line piece I’m just still not sure it’s for me. I can’t really use it without irritating my bad ankle, but i think that’s more of a me issue than a pm5 issue. Purchased used in 2025 for $250
