Mine are made out of 1x12s. They come out to 1.5” of height, 2” for the one with a rubber tile on the top. I added a lip similar DC blocks to be able to stack them and also keep the bar from rolling off.

One day, loading the basic trap bar pissed me off enough I finally upgraded to the open bar with wide handles. It’s well built and the knurling on the handles is sharp. The handles have a center mark but every once in a while I pick it up and it’s unbalanced, especially if I’m using straps. The loading jacks are great and also make it easy to store without accidental knock overs. It is a long bar and does take up some real estate. I can use it as a camber bar with the wide handles, but larger people would need to take the handles off. Lower pick height than a normal trap bar on the high side of the handles. My favorite use is for zerchers, lifting it off the jacks by the frame.

Decent bumpers. Had my set for 5+ years with no issues. I try not to drop them much but it happens. Even the 10s and 15s are still in good shape with no bending. They fit on all my bars (Rep, Rogue, Texas, Axle).

Value power pin. It works. Handle might have a little wiggle to it extended all the way out. I used it for Ukrainian deadlift training.

This was our first bar. I do both power and Olympic lifts so a hybrid bar made sense as a start. Knurling isn’t sharp, but that’s more consistent with and oly bar. Coating has worn off the sleeves over time and there’s some oxidation. Good first budget bar, now a beater bar.

Weight is weight. Not the cheapest plates, and haven’t checked mine for accuracy. I needed some more plates and was ordering something else from Rep anyway. Have 45s and 25s. Some coating chipping on the 25s from frequent use on the log.

No real issues; it works as intended. I don’t have room for a full deadlift jack and this is an improvement over using a change plate. The bar pocket has UMHW to protect the bar and it’s easy to step on to lift up the bar. Easy to store out of the way due to its size.
