I was fortunate enough to get an early version of this and I really like how this was a step into making the mutant metals ecosystem for the dip handles. Since then there have been great advances in the versions of this that are more convenient and compact for multiple use cases. There are a handful of options you get with this and that is a good thing, but makes it hard for me to pick which I would most enjoy. In my opinion, the basic angle down is a safe bet as your wrists will be in a good angle. The attachment itself is pretty small and light weight. This makes it an easy thing to store in your attachment collection and expand to full size only when you need it.

Although my drink spotter XL is my daily driver for drink safety, the drink spotter lite was my first drink spotter and will always have a special place in my heart. Take a drink every time you see the word spotter on this page and you will need something to help you stay safe. Not something I do often, but this is not a bad size to take with you to sporting events and make your own cup holder on the fly.

I have both the brown and black version of this and they are very convenient for keeping your drink safe on the go. The magnets hold up well, but be sure that they have good contact to the metal surface. These are safe, but the magnets aren't working with the same amount of power as the drink spotter lite or XL. The finish and feel of the material is nice and fits in well in most situations. You can be the life of the party with this party trick.

I remember first using MAGs about 7 years ago and I was hooked immediately. The feel of the handle helps a lot with keeping the focus on the pull and not your grip. The neutral grip is good, but I prefer the pronated grips more. Just feels more natural. Of course there is reason to use each type, but buying all of these would be a hard cost to justify. I, like most, got the cheap knock offs first and those were fine. I get it can be hard to buy 1 grip that costs the same as 5 of the knock offs. In all honesty, the angles are not that far off, and though the knock offs use a cheaper coating, it held up for a long time. That being said, they got all that stuff close to right because they are just copying MAG. It does not have to be all at once, but if you already have the knock offs and have any care to support a small American company that does make the best version of this product, start with switching one and feel for yourself. In my opinion, 2 grips (narrow and medium) is really all you need unless you have a range of preferences for types of angles for pulls.

I really like the Pegasus seat. This thing is expensive, but I find it packs a lot of utility in a smallish space. It is pretty heavy, which can be challenging to get into the right position. My use case is as a lat seat for my dialed motion Ibex lat pull down. I do think the center handle is a bit wide and if you aren't mindful will dig into your thighs and is oddly a lot more uncomfortable than you would think. That said, I do get great use for rows out of it as well. I store this overhead on my rack and it stows away great. The weight issue comes into play there, but this is likely a less common use case so not a big knock against it on that. The attention to detail on this thing is next level. Magnetic pin, knurling on the main handle, under lip for your fingers to grip onto, numbering on the knee pad slots. This thing had a lot of thought put into it and it shows.

I have done a video first impressions video on this and you can find that on my youtube. After some time using it, my opinions are pretty similar to my first impressions. The angle is good, the feel is cheap, and it is way over priced. Comparable attachments (aluminum) are about half the cost. This is almost the same cost as Rogue whose bar is basically their curl bar (which is a bent Ohio bar). You can feel and see on the bends where the machine left dents in the knurling. It also uses plastic spacers that just look and feel cheap. I hope they hold up. A good thing about aluminum attachments is they weigh less so you don’t have to factor the offset or extra weight as much into your cable movement.

This is just like your tried and true tricep rope that you have likely used before at a commercial gym. I do like that feel, but I will say that the end knob is uncomfortable for tricep extensions and rope curls. I do prefer the BFAS for these movements. If I am programed for these I often sub out for the BFAS, but still sometimes use these. I have heard that Rogue makes a tricep rope that is a bit more comfortable on the end knobs, but I have not tried that out. If that is true, then I would say getting that would be worth the extra money.
