All you need to do is make a friend in high school, who has aspirations to have a world renowned beer bar one day, then send them a text 30 years later that you’re doing strongman and need a couple kegs, and boom, you have yourself some kegs for cheap. It’s that easy.

These are specifically reserved for my deadlifts because they really keep the plates nice and tight. They feel a bit light weight and the coating does wear but still love how well they hold things in place. I do think they were a bit expensive but they are perfect as a gift, which is how I acquire them.

I’m giving this a 5 because for what it is, it’s good. It’s built well, it takes up very little space, has a handle with a nice grip and mdf to protect the bars. I have had it for years and it still works fine. Not bad for those that don’t want to take up space with a double.

It works in a pinch but not great for shorter racks. It can swing quite a bit too when you’re doing reps so I found I had to slow way down sometimes. It was good as a beginner pulley system before upgrading.

This belt is well built and I see no wear and tear even after the several years of use. It could use a bit more padding but I still thinks it’s pretty comfortable.

No issues with this thing, it’s built well and works well on my plate loaded low row. Really makes my hamstrings burn.

I actually like these because they aren’t exactly like other bumpers on the market, they are more rigid and less bouncy. I wanted these for farmer carry and axle pressing and really just wanted something the size of standard plates but could easily drop without damaging the floor or pads. They serve that purpose for me.

I was happy to support a local Iowa fabricator when they were offering good deals on plates during Covid. The plates are fairly accurate, off my a few tenths, nothing crazy. The opening is a bit larger than I’d like so there is a bit of slop when lifting, but it’s not excessive. I’ve only lost a small amount of coating in the 5 years I’ve had them, so overall, it was a decent buy.
