I have a real passion for health and fitness. Let myself get real unhealthy but battled back. I’m in it for the long haul. Building my home gym is maybe a midlife crisis, but it’s cheaper than a divorce and a sports car. Very thankful to find a community of others who share this passion.

I’m going to give a mixed review. Having a Voltra or 2 really opens the door to changing your training only limited my your imagination and time. Time is my issue. First of all, the instructions that came with it are worthless. If you want to know how to use it, you gotta research it on Reddit, YouTube, Instagram, or Discord. What got me going was some YouTube videos. There’s really a learning curve to get going. Once you get it figured out, you can do some cool stuff. For example, it put a pair of Voltras on the Rhino and belt squat with a 50% higher eccentric and reverse bands for another 50%. I love that. Is it worth it? It’s a lot of money especially when you start adding in all the mounts. First off, I’d only get the adaptive rack mount or a Darko quick mount, and an adaptive bar mount which mounts to anything round like a pull up bar. Then, see if you really need anything else. If you add that to a squat rack, you can bring in a ton of new functionality into your gym as an alternative to adding a functional trainer. If you’re not a tinkerer, I’d probably get more of a traditional cable system instead.

Beautiful weight tree. Came very well packaged. Powder coat is top notch. Everything about it is premium. It’s a little pricy but I think you get what you pay for.

I use these handles for several movements including chest flys, single arm tricep extensions and pull downs, and lateral raises. These handles are very nicely crafted which is what you’d expect for the price. These handles aren’t going to transform your training. Buy these if you like nice craftsmanship and supporting an American made small business. I use them regularly and have no regrets about purchasing them.

I couldn’t be happier with how both the leg extension and leg curl feel. The price makes in a good value for what you’re getting. The paint came chipped in a few places. The fit and finish is just ok. For the leg extension, I’m putting 7 plates on which I’m able to do because I’m using really thin plates. You could only fit maybe 4 deep dish plates on it. I’m not too far from maxing the stated weight capacity. Is this a big issue? I don’t think so, but you may use a fair number of plates on the machine. Just keep that in mind. I’m very happy with the machine and glad I have it.

Build quality is excellent as it should be for the price. I regularly use the Iso grip for hammer curls, side lateral raises, and single arm tricep work. If I could only have a few cable attachments, I’d prioritize this one or one like it.
