I mainly use it for step-ups and as a quick height platform for strongman movements. It stays planted without sliding. It’s heavy enough to feel secure but still manageable to move when needed.

Abmat always feels top quality and this is the case as well. I do find that it is too thick and makes adjusting height on box more of a pain. With it being as firm as it is, I am not sure why it needs that much material. It would be cool if they also offered a soft one that way the conjugate method with box squats with cushions could be improved.

I am so glad titan is selling these again. I was watching for them for years and luckily got a quality CDB in the meantime. I have had my hands on these several times and they are not great, but they are affordable. So much of strongman is cost prohibitive so having a affordable option for such a common event is great. This is a great CDB to start with. Get a good crash pad setup or risk bends that if bad enough could make some use of the been less than intended.

I would not recommend these as what you use for your main DBs. They are a pain to change the weight on, take too long, and its not easy to load heavy to kick up for shoulder press. I would recommend an more enclosed adjustable pair and then having this for heavy rows or similar work where the effort to load 1 or 2 times could be done without taking too much time. I will say that these feel line a mini barbell, but they are priced to match.

I am not a big fan of ergo handles on DBs. These are a good price for Rogue, but they are the same DB as any other company with a similar design. If I did not get them for the deal I did I would not have picked them up. They do feel fine and work without issue. I am just not a fan of the design for the cost from Rogue.

This is one of the first pieces that Rep took the mold and kept it affordable, but improved it for what most lifters at a home gym want. The ergo handles are not something I hear most gym owners wanting. Putting in the effort to switch that makes these a great affordable option for fixed DBs.

There are not many 10' DL bars that you can buy for your home gym. This one is great quality and provides that bend that we all want to replicate that we see on the Arnold stage when they pull on the elephant bar. The price and shipping make this a hard one to justify the buy, but that isn't different when compared to any other bar in this class. I am not a fan of a coating on the bar, but I don't find it takes away from my grip since I use straps on strongman DL.

These are a whole other beast as compared to a monster CDB or normal flat/open ended CDB. The sphere makes positioning on your shoulder very difficult. It is such a cool looking piece, but be ready for a challenge. Changing out weight is a bit of a pain, but not that bad.
