I got the BoS 150lb sandbag after having a Rogue 100lb sandbag. The build quality of the bag itself seems pretty similar (though Rogues might be slightly better), but the BoS was/is cheaper which is nice for a home gym. I like that they have the weight painted on the bag so its easy to identify from a distance. I thought I would like having the handles on the bag, but those seem to get in the way more often than I use them at this point, but I can see how they could be beneficial to add more variety to your training.

This bar is everything I needed in a rackable axle bar. The price point at the time of purchase in 2025 was at the mid point between the cheaper/budget options and the higher end options. The bar feels great in the hand, handles all the weight I can do effortlessly and should last a long time.

This does everything I need a long tricep rope to do at a fraction of the cost of name brand ones. The build quality so far seems to match much higher cost ropes. I would purchase again.

I have the M7. This machine doesn't take up a ton of space and is easy to move around due to its light weight. The build quality is pretty good for what you're getting and my wife (moreso than me) enjoys it for quick HIIT workouts. We've had it for going on ten years I believe and it still works with little to no maintenance. It's a combination of stair climber and elliptical in one in my incorrect opinion. While we've used it and enjoyed it, I'm not sure I would purchase it again for our gym if we needed to replace it.

I got these in the 125lb pair during the black friday deals in December. I was debating between getting these adjustable DBs or expanding the Rep Hex 5-50lb dumbbell set I already had. I ended up going with these to save on space and I'm glad I did. They are pretty quick to change weights in between sets or exercises and were very easy to put together. I haven't dropped them much, but the build quality seems to be superb and that they will be able to survive for a long time and take a fair amount of beating. The price is pretty high for a pair of adjustable dumbbell, but I wanted to get something that might keep its resale value better and offer quick weight changes instead of having to take a couple minutes each time I need to change the weight. My only real gripes with the dumbbells are that the cage could be a little bigger (it's cramped if you have larger hands) or that you do need to be careful when racking the dumbbells so that they don't get wedged in the holders.

I got this bench in red and wide pad for $259 2023. I love this bench. It's simple, but does what it needs to. The wide pad is grippy enough for me and offers plenty of support. The bench is very sturdy as long as you aren't focusing all of the weight on the single stand end where it might want to tip a bit. I would definitely purchase this bench again as it was easy to put together and does everything I need out of a flat bench.

I got this piece (plate loaded) in 2025 while trying to find a more budget pieced lat pulldown/low row machine I could use for quite a few cable exercises. The build is pretty good (though the piece is lighter than I was expecting) and the value is alright. The value has gone down over time as the price has gone up (though a lot of that is outside of BoS control I believe). The machine lets me perform many of the pulldown, low rows, tricep exercises and bicep exercises I need from a basic cable machine. The machine took me several hours (but I am far from handy) to put together, but the instructions were fairly clear in what to do. I would say this machine is closer to budget machines than to a Rogue or Rep pulldown machine (which makes sense given the price.)

These dumbbells were everything I hoped for in my first set. I love that they have the straight knurled handles which is what I prefer. The knurled handles have been perfect, they aren't overly aggressive, but much better than knurling you'd find on cheaper or more budget options. They have handled all of the drops I have put them through so far while working out with no signs of breaking. I currently have the 5-50 set and don't regret the purchase.
