These clips hold on to the bar tight, but they're more expensive than other collars that do as good of a job. These tend do be pretty annoying as they have two screws to tighten as well. I don't find I use mine often.

This is a great functional piece for both cable and barbell work. Lot of colors available as well. It has now passed on to REP but I've heard they've maintained a lot of the quality.

We were hoping the integrated smith machine on this would give us something we were missing in our gym. However this does not function like a regular smith machine and using it is not only awkward, but inefficient. The best thing about this unit is the multiple cable attachments and smoothness. However, due to its large footprint, expensive cost, and poor integration of the smith, it's hard to recommend. Better off going with a cheaper unit and just leveraging the FT aspect.

These are currently on sale, which helps with the value, but they're pretty run of the mill bumper plates at a decent price. I like how the edges have a bit of a texture to help with grip.

These are pretty interchangeable with any comp collar out there. This seems to be the most consistent design. Priced at $200 is about common, so in this case I'd prob go with a more well known brand, or one that doesn't have as many customer service issues.

Like all things Gungnir, the fit and finish on these things are great. The integrated collar in the handle can come in handy except when maxing out the sleeves as you're more limited with where you can secure it. Also due to the design, you sometimes get more slop in the plates due to the incremental adjustment of the collars. While they're built nice and have some good features, they're also extremely expensive which will scare a lot of people away.

This was the first big bad beefy combo available and also the most customizable. While the price point was/is (still offered through Rogue) extremely high, it was hard to beat for it's made in USA quality and limitless design options. While most home users would prefer a heavy duty combo, this thing can be difficult in meet situations as moving it and its bench around is more difficult due to the heft.

This is a no frills combo, but one of the most competitively priced ones out there. While the build quality isn't the best and they offer no customization, they are one of the few providers putting out sub $2k combos. This one is a bit unique in that the spotter platforms connect to the combo and not the bench, so you are basically getting a very usable flat blench with this set up as well.
