Best way for me to summarize this bar is, "unique." Lot of history with the brand when it comes to weightlifting, but they also make some solid powerlifting gear. The key standouts on this bar are that it's made in Japan, has a square knurl pattern that is hand pressed, and has some of the smoothest spin on the shaft/sleeves you'll find. The knurling itself is on the passive side, but it's extremely well built. Where this one will turn you off is the price. Retail for this is now over $1000 and I believe Uesaka USA is going away, so you'd have to pay even more to import it.
