One can’t just own 1 Texas power bar bars you most several. I bought this in 2018 to match up the bars the local meet director uses. No complaints about the squat bar. Not really necessary unless your a big boy or have shit mobility or in my case just like to practice how he plays

This is the only squat bar I've ever used. All of Texas power bars are on another level and their squat bar is just as nice as the rest of them.

If you're after a specialty squat bar, this should be towards the top of the potential list for pretty much anyone. Thick, aggressive knurling, 55 pounds. Checks all the boxes. Really good price. Only potential downside I can see is for some really big (equipped usually) squatters, they like an even stiffer bar.
