I've had several different pins from different companies and I think build quality for these is up there with the best. They are extremely pricey however so they're hard to recommend. I haven't had issues with them scratching my upright, but could see how that could potentially happen.

Really expensive and they will scratch your powder coat on the rack. I like JD's way better. Overrated stay away.
