I use these for grip training. They are real fairly inexpensive and take chalk relatively well. They are sold in a pair so they can be used to hang on or pull ups on.

I have one of these that was purchased in a set. Helped me train for a grip contest, good value product. Not as nice as some premium offerings but still a good implement.
