Kabuki Kadillac Bar

Kabuki Kadillac Bar

Cambered to the same angle as Kabuki’s Duffalo Bar, the Kadillac Bar is a specialty neutral grip / football bar that enables a full range of motion, with convenient rackability on any standard power rack (40.5” to 52.5”). The bar includes 1.33” diameter handles spaced 15.3”, 22.3”, and 29.2” apart, with 10°, 12.5°, and 15° grip angles. The variability of handle placement and angles offers countless variations in exercises and progressions, and also promotes optimal, stacked joint position and improved movement mechanics.

If you’re going to have one specialty bar for the upper body it’s this one. I have a kabuki made one with the grippy powder coat instead of the mild knurl that rogue uses. I regularly use this bar on bench and overhead pressing utilizing all 3 grip widths at times. Purchased used in 2022 for $400

Decent multigrip bar. The early versions had a lot of sharp edges and only offered powder coat as a finish on the handles. Mine had some issues with the sleeves and loose pieces of metal floating around which made the bar very noisy in use.

I competed in powerlifting for the first 10is years of strength training and I wish I had this bar near those last 5 years. This thing helps me keep my press strong while also keeping my shoulders happy. I’m sure there are other bars out there cheaper that have a similar angle or will give you similar results, so if you’re having any shoulder issues on press, I highly recommend this style of bar for some of your press days. Since switching to strongman training I rarely flat press, but I like this even more for incline press. That angle was always harder on my shoulders and this leaves me with no issues even with the deeper stretch. I don’t have many reasons for you to pay the premium for this exact bar, especially since you can support other great companies making something that will give you similar benefits that I got from this. The main reason I chose this was I wanted more kabuki and that history in my gym. It’s silly, but so are most of the things in my gym. For most, go with black widow if you want great made in America quality for this type of bar. If you need budget go with BOS.

This is made well. I have no complaints. I would say I rarely find myself using this bar. I don't see many in Massenomics Gym use it either. It wouldn't be top of my list for specialty bars.
