Greatest thing to happen to cable machines since daisy chains. Previously I had a pulley tower from Valor Fitness that was perfectly fine, but it took up footprint in the gym and was too short to be usable for lat pull downs. The ibex is incredibly smooth especially considering that it is a 1:1 weight ratio. The lat pulldown arm is high enough that I get a good stretch even with my basement height rack. The cable retractor gives you options to get into a good position. It is expensive, but I believe it is value received.

I am a huge fan of the ingenuity of Dialed Motion. They overall are making great products and the Ibex is for sure one of those. I don’ t see a real need to get 2 of these, so a single with the lat pull down should work well for you. The offset of the lat pull down is noticeable, but you just have to sit to the side of your seat and it will work fine. I use the Pegasus seat and it works great for this. You could also use your bench with some kind of leg roller if you'd like. For the standard cable with the trolley, it is smooth and easy to set up. The ratchet system is one of the smartest additions to the home gym market I have ever seen. It is easy to figure out and helps keep it out of the way when not in use. I am getting more swayed to the Voltra, but if that price point is out of reach, this is a great alternative for getting high quality cables in your gym.
