Deadlift Crash Pads (Pair)

Deadlift Crash Pads (Pair)

Do your neighbors complain about your earth-shattering PR vibrations? Is your baby's nap time cut short because it's snatch day, and you're causing a ruckus? If you answered "yes" to either of these questions, then I'm afraid the jerk store called, and they're running out of you. Unlike Stackable Pull Blocks, deadlift pads (AKA silencer pads) let you work out any time of day or night without worrying about disturbing loved ones or sleepy neighbors. Hefty foam fillers and a durable outer shell withstand heavy drops. Stack them for rack pulls and jerk work with a secure velcro outer edge and hang them up out of the way when not in use.

I got these recently and I haven't had a chance to use them extensively or over a long period of time, but for the deal (especially during the Black Friday deal BoS had) I couldn't pass them up. They were a much better price than other similarly constructed pads and the velcro is a nice addition when needing to keep them together or storing them. Admittedly at times the velcro can be annoying when it catches on things. They do a great job of doing their job of being a crash pad and I would purchase again.

Nice crash pads, mine are still relatively new. I understand why BoS put Velcro on the top and bottom sides, but it’s not a feature I need and it’s more annoying when storing than anything else.

I got these to protect my floor, but have since moved to using them for crash pads and elevated deadlifts. They have withstood a lot of beatings, and are a main component if my strongman training. With that said, they were quite expensive. One thing I really don't like is the hook and loop feature. Storing these becomes an issue as they stick together and weigh almost 80lbs combined. Having to separate them to move them is not the warm up I wanted.

I haven’t managed to break them after two years. The more expensive options on Amazon don’t last as long. Bells offers replacement covers for when the zippers eventually explode. The foam will break down over time if you keep resting the plates in the same place on the pad. The Velcro works great for stacking the pads to make blocks, just make sure you put plywood on top or the weights will sink into the pad.

I think these are the best crash pads on the market. The Velcro on them is a great feature, as it allows you to stack pairs in a very sturdy way. Makes them ideal for log crash pads. Bells also offers replacement covers which I don’t think any other company is doing. So you could order them if you rip these covers or need new ones for another set of crash pads.

Have used these at a couple different LHLE Stronman shows as well and carried them to and from Tanners truck to use in crü falls. They are definitely more premium than other brands of similar status. Made famous by Brad The Pad
