This is possible due to the fact that the bar holdercan be changed quickly from wide to narrow. The bench can be mounted onto the squat rack with ease and without the use of special tools.

The ER combo rack does seem to be pretty popular with meet directors for its quality to weight ratio. I have used one of the many times in comps and several times while traveling and using a public powerlifting gym. Big downside for putting one in al Home gym is it has not bolt down options.

This used be a solid option a decade ago when there weren't many combo options on the market. However these days I think its age is showing. While it's quite portable for meets, this leads it to feel very loose and unstable while in use. You also don't get any finer touches like UHMW protection. This ships with metal rollers which chew through bars like nobody's business and the pad is one of the least liked in the community.
