For my money, this is nearly the perfect bar. The stainless steel finish holds up incredibly well and the hard chrome sleeves still look like they came out of the barbell tube. These do have a thin, competition style inner collar. This can be good to get practice with the whip and feel of a competition bar, but it does make the bar harder to rack cleanly especially on wider racks like those from Rogue. I love the Ohio Power Bar knurling. It's grippy without feeling sharp. A great all-around bar. If I could only have one straight bar, this would be it.

If I had to recommend one bar for someone who competes in powerlifting I would start with this bar. For what you get at the price point, it's the best on the market.

This is my daily driver. It's like a goldilocks bar for me, it does everything just right. I compete in powerlifting so I wanted thin collars, good grip, and a good price. Rogue has really nailed the updated Ohio Power Bar line. You can pick any coating, 45lbs or 20kg versions, several options on knurling, and it's all made here in the USA. The only way this bar could get better is if they offered an aggro 2 version of the knurling.
