Got a whole bunch of these in 10s and some 5s and 2.5s to use for my loadable dumbbells. Amazon has them for a little bit over a dollar a pound, and it was worth paying that to have them shipped to my house and not have to scour marketplace. The weights are consistently within 2-3 ozs, mostly over, which is totally fine for my purposes. Ultimately I will upgrade to a fixed set of dumbbells up to 100s but these will get the job done until that happens.

I have a pair of 100lb plates I got on marketplace. They are heavy. I haven’t actually weighed them.

It’s the standard plate. Weighs between 43-47 lbs, not great but does the job of being something to lift

Really these get a bad rap but I love these plates. Most of mine are within .1 of said weight. I got most from a local high school that was getting rid of their plates.

I have the even cheaper grey cast iron ones. They're plates and they weigh something but haven't checked their accuracy. Also don't think they're too durable.

I owned about 1,000 lbs of these around 2017 before upgrading to York milled plates. They are very hit or miss on weight accuracy, you will have a good porting of them at a decent tolerance but when I saw some of my “45s” weight in anywhere between 42-47 lbs I knew it was time to move on.
Good plates if you can get for 40-70 cents alb used. Wouldn’t buy new.

These can be luck of the draw on weight accuracy. I have had some pretty bad ones (5lbs off) and some spot on. These are fine weights if they are accurate. As long as you can check them to make sure they are not several pounds off then they should be fine.

I think we’ve all used our fair share of these and know the drill.
They’re pretty affordable, and go on sale regularly. Not perfect on weight tolerances by any means, BUT they are a classic look in my opinion.
I actually really love that the tolerance for the hole in the middle isn’t super tight because it gives these plates a bit of a rattle when you lift with them.
